Don’t usually gives horrible review but this was the worst hotel experience we’ve had in many years. Dirty, old, clogged bathroom sink without stopper, broken drawer.... you get the pic. No place for dog to bathroom. I would never recommend this hotel no matter the cost. One night and couldn’t wait to leave!

This is an OKAY location to stay for the night. I have traveled a lot of the country and stayed in a lot of hotels. This one is just OKAY. If you're on a long car ride and need somewhere to stay for the night it is an okay place to stay. It is pet friendly, which is why we stayed there, but there is no grassy areas. The comforter on one of the beds had dirt stains. The shower was hard to use. The staff was very very nice. Depending on your journey this may fit your needs. I wouldn't go out of my way to stay here.

We were traveling cross country when a breakdown left us looking for a hotel for the night. Rugged Country Lodge was recommended by one of the local tow-truck drivers. We found it charming and comfortable for both us and our pets.
