  Cool spot for Spot

  This location is hard to beat with it being 100 feet away from the beach and lots of restaurants within 2-3 blocks. There's ample parking in the lot, a cool bar setup in the lobby for coffee and beer, and pool/sauna. The unit we stayed in was mediocre and the bed wasn't great, but I really can't complain at the price point. Plus, if you are spending a lot of time in your hotel at Seaside, you are doing it wrong. Accommodations for pups were nice. The pet fee is a moderate $25 for the entire stay. The only thing I wish they had was an outdoor area to hose your dog down. This would be beneficial to both guests and the hotel as it would reduce the amount of sand you take into the unit.

  Great Pet Friendly Location

  I love the industrial style decor of this place. It was simple, nice, clean. I noticed ear plugs included with the room; you can hear your neighbors through the wall and outside but it wasn’t enough to ruin my stay. I will definitely be back with my dogs and loved that I could bring them along.

  Exactly what we needed!

  Hotel was great! VERY dog friendly. Loved the indoor heated pool with adult hours. Only 2 block walk to the beach, bikes to check out, cute little sitting area with fire pit, and small bar inside for drinks and snacks. I would recommend bringing your own pillows.

  Great location, helpful staff

  There were no first-floor rooms available and our senior dog has a hard time with stairs. Fortunately, they got a cancellation shortly after we arrived and contacted us immediately to assist with switching to a first- floor room.

  Cutest hotel!

  This place was so cute and welcoming. Didn’t matter to them that I had a large dog. Wonderful staff, great food and reasonably priced. Def will stay there again!

  Hidden gem!

  The room was upgraded beautifully and I appreciated being on the top floor; I imagine the lower floors experience a lot of noise. Rooms were very clean and well maintained throughout, felt modern and fresh. The pool and sauna was fantastic! The lounge/coffee area was nice in the morning, plus lots of cookies for your pup! I appreciated the large green area in the back for our dog to go potty in, plus bags were provided for our convenience. The only con is the front desk staff could have been much more welcoming, I interacted with 4 different folks and each made me feel like I was inconveniencing them in some way. All in all, this place was much nicer than many 3-4 star hotels I’ve stayed in and we will likely stay at Ashore for future visits to Seaside!

  Pets not just allowed, but welcomed!

  Great experience - funky rooms. Floors are cement, so bring slippers and a doggo bed - but it also means you don't have to stress if your puppers has an accident in the room. Beds are comfy, pallet frames. Lights are mostly bare bulbs - minimalistic decor. Dogs may stay in the room as long as you leave a number at the front desk so they can reach you if there's a problem. Small salt-water pool and a gas firepit sitting area are good for evenings. There are also hoses and towels for when your dog comes back from the beach (which is less than a block away). Great little cafe with breakfast and drinks too. Complimentary coffee, tea and hot cocoa as well as free bike rentals!

  Dogs very welcome

  The Ashore Hotel made it very easy for us to bring our 95 pound dog with us on our October trip. Dog bowls all around, treats in the lobby, dog towels and hoses available to clean up your pooch. They allow you to leave your dog in the room but request you let the front desk know in case of emergency. The location is great, only a block from the beach. The only downside was the fire pit is not covered and it was closed for the season (understandable in October).
