  Great pet-friendly motel

  We really enjoyed our stay. The motel is very vintage-y, complete with some actual vintage items. The room was very cozy and comfy, and the area is very quiet. There are plenty of good places to walk the dog and the beach is close by. Our doggo loved his morning walks on the beach! We will definitely stay again and recommend it to anyone we know who’s headed this way.

  Wonderful stay

  This is an adorable motel. They are welcoming and even had a welcome bag for our dog that included his own towel, water bowl, and bed. Also, the beach here is gorgeous.

  Very Pet Friendly

  We stayed just one night at Deane’s Oceanfront Lodge and were impressed with how dog friendly they were! Great space behind motel for dogs, great beach, and they give each visiting pet a comfort pack when you check in. Very nice!

  We had a great stay here

  The back doors of the rooms open to a large grassy area with an easy walk to an empty/beautiful beach - book it!

  So Dog Friendly!!

  Only my 2nd time traveling with Charlie (our dog) this place was totally awesome! Had a welcome dog bag with bowl, bed snack in it for her. Rooms are all redone, cute, and clean! Will stay again for sure. And so close to the beach (few stairs).

  Wonderful fun

  We loved our few days at Deane’s. Working with our pup on recall and fetching in the surf. She even got to chase a helicopter! We will definitely return for more fun!!

  Adorable with Plenty of Room

  I loved this motel! It’s older, but very well maintained. The room was very clean! I’m not sure how they keep the linens and towels so white! My room had a cute little stand alone fire place which made it so cozy on a rainy night. Between the motel and the ocean is a HUGE grassy area to walk your dog. We spent a lot of time back there and on the beach. Person that checked me in was very pleasant! Several good restaurants a few miles away in Yachats. I would stay there again.

  One of the best dog hotels

  This place is wonderful. Cozy, dog friendly rooms that open up to the beach. They give you a doggy care bag with treats, poop bags, a towel, a bowl and a dog bed! There are balls you can borrow at the front desk. Excellent customer service.

  Great place to stay!

  My pooch and I stayed here last night and LOVED it! Super friendly staff, super dog friendly, and great location right on the beach. We definitely plan on staying here again when we're back!

  A night on the Oregon coast

  Wonderful place to stay with your dog! Lots of grassy areas for walks. Easy steps down to the beach. Best of all was the people, so very friendly.

  Perfect

  The rooms are very clean and attractive. You enter thru one door and exit thru the other into a vast lawn with stairs at the end. Several miles of beach await you and your dog paradise!

  Great staff, room, location

  Stayed here on my way up the coast. The staff was so great to deal with and the room was very fitting for my 2 dogs, along with great beach access. My wife and I stayed here again when we were making our way back down the coast. Highly recommend staying here if you're traveling with dogs or just in general.

  The location was awesome, no cell phone service which made us reconnect with each other and this little motel is super dog friendly. Will stay here again in the future.

  One of the best places to stay! Customer Service = A+

  Reviews or pics of Deane's Oceanfront Lodge cannot compare to the actual experience of staying there - it exceeded my expectations.

  Highlights:
  - Pet friendly rooms; included was a doggy care bag which had a water bowl, blanket & Milk-Bone® dog biscuits (so sweet)!

  - Tastefully decorated, warm, cozy rooms
  - The king size bed was so comfortable
  - I loved the electric fireplace and vintage kitchenette
  - A beautiful view of the ocean from most rooms
  - A few minutes’ walk from your room/back patio, past a large, green lawn and you are at the stairs which lead down to the beach!

  - Reasonably priced considering the entire experience we had

  Excellent customer service:

  - Reserving online was easy. I knew we couldn’t arrive until after their office closing time, so I called to see if this would be an issue. There was no issue; they arranged for us to get into our room and they even left the lights on for our arrival. Check-in paperwork wasn’t due until the next morning.

  - On Saturday, a staff member personally visited each room, asking folks if they needed anything. Also, days after returning home, I received an email from the lodge thanking me for my stay.
  I have NEVER experienced such care and attention to detail like this at any place I have stayed. I really am impressed!
