Guests traveling with dogs are only permitted in the Blakemore Room, Vanderslice Suite, and Cannon Cottage. Crated dogs may be left unattended in guest rooms. Treats and dog bowls are available and there is a grassy area for pet relief on the property. Dogs must be well-behaved and up to date on vaccinations. Sorry, no cats.

      Wonderful B&B

      My husband and I (and Jax the Maltese) spent two wonderful nights in the B.F. Hiestand House Bed & Breakfast. From our first interaction with Pam, one of the innkeepers, along with Dallas, she treated us just like family. The home was magnificent and our dog-friendly room was great. Our breakfasts, prepared by Pam, were tasty and hit the spots before our long outing into Dutch Country. One of the things I had hoped to find was a quilt made by hand from the Amish Country. Pam took out time to designate several places where I could find what I was looking for. I found one at our first stop and I quickly made a purchase. Thank you Pam! Jax had a great time too as he got lots of love from the innkeepers and guests. If we ever get back to the Dutch Amish Country, we be sure to stay with Pam and Dallas at the B.F. Hiestand House Bed & Breakfast.
