Enjoyed the spacious room and the fact I could leave my dog in the room for a few hours while I visited a gorgeous Mountain View an hour away. Also, great staff in the morning and afternoon in suggestions and printed directions to nearby waterfalls, allowing a late check out after a very early morning, and giving my dog a Clemson/Abernathy bandana to wear as we walked the campus!

This hotel is beautiful and right across the street from Clemson’s campus. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. They allow dogs of all sizes, which is a plus! There are even treats at the front desk. I would definitely recommend staying here!

Located on the beautiful campus of Clemson University, directly across the street from the football stadium! The campus provided a fabulous venue for walking Gus, my Rhodesian Ridgeback! Our hotel room was spotless -- it looked brand new. I particularly liked the larger than typical refrigerator/freezer and microwave in the large wet bar. he cafe and restaurant/bar off of the lobby were great to grab some breakfast and tapas/drinks in the evening. We also really enjoyed being downtown and so close to excellent restaurants. We particularly liked the 3 minute walk to The Esso Club, which also has pup- friendly seating outside on their patio. The staff at The Abernathy were particularly hospitable, and a jar of doggy biscuits at the front desk was noticed immediately by Gus! We will definitely be staying here the next time we're in Clemson!

Stayed one night to visit Clemson with my daughter, wife and our dog. Right across the street from campus and a shirt walk into town. Friendly staff and lots of grass to walk your dog across the street.

My wife, our Boston Terrier and I recently made a last minute visit to Clemson with a stay at the Abernathy. Wow! These folks could not have been nicer or more hospitable. They went out of their way to make us and our dog feel as welcome as if we were a part of their family. Kudos to a great facility and a great staff. We will definitely return.
