They had a nice staff and beautiful rooms our pup loved it. You can only walk them through the lobby to your room and they can relieve themselves in the designated pet areas.

When we checked in everything was in order and our spacious room was perfect!! The Carnegie Hotel has a grassy area off to one side with pet waste bags and pail. The restaurant, Wellingtons, allowed our chocolate lab on the outside patio with us. We highly recommend the Carnegie Hotel!!

This hotel is beautiful and historical. We were there just one night, and we ate dinner and breakfast in the elegant restaurant on site. It was wonderful! Dogs loved it too!

Very helpful, friendly and courteous staff who gave Gus a bunch of love. I even could bring him to have dinner with me on the deck of Wellington’s, the hotel’s excellent restaurant! We were in town for a lure coursing event in Limestone, and am SO happy that we read the reviews about this hotel and decided to stay here! The rooms are quite spacious and beautifully appointed.

So many pet parents often feel ostracized to low-budget places because of pet restrictions. However, our sweet old guy was welcomed and loved at Carnegie. We didn’t feel like an inconvenience. And it was a super comfortable stay for all of us. If back in Johnson City, would definitely stay there again.

The historic hotel celebrates its past AND today’s modern luxuries, and there are wonderful places to walk your best friend, including the ETSC campus. Everyone we met at the hotel, from the front desk folks to the restaurant and bar waitstaff and management were so friendly and welcoming. We will definitely return!!!

We enjoyed our time at the Carnegie. Their lovely atmosphere, extra detail to cleaning and safety (extra appreciated by this expecting mam to be!) and being so welcoming and comfortable for our dog all are just a few reasons I highly recommend this hotel. We enjoyed the gorgeous building itself, and had a yummy and reasonably priced breakfast at the Wellington restaurant. We will be sure to visit again the next time we travel through the area!

We come to Limestone, TN to lure course and always stay here. They have a separate entrance on the spa floor that walks right out to a grassy area. The rooms are nice and there are sidewalks. The pet fee per night is steep though!

Health & Safety
Safe Stay: Carnegie Hotel & Spa has enhanced cleaning and safety measures in place. Masks and hand sanitizer are provided to guests, and rooms are disinfected between each stay. Social distancing measures are in place, as well as physical barriers between staff and guests. Cashless payment is available. Each room has a 24-hour gap period between stays, and hotel staff are required to wear masks.
