Whitten Inn University welcomes three pets up to 20 lbs for an additional fee of $10 per pet (for stays up to 3 nights) and two pets over 20 lbs for $50 per pet (for stays of 3 nights or more). Both dogs and cats are allowed, and pets may be left in rooms unattended. There is a grassy area for pet relief near the hotel, and waste bags are provided at the front desk. We arrived at Whiten Inn University to find there is NO complimentary breakfast. This is an average Motor Lodge with small, clean rooms, if that's all you need. But I was hoping for more, and found it additionally annoying that there wasn't a PBS channel on their Direct TV channel lineup, but Fox News and conservative newspapers galore in the lobby.

This was a great place to stay while in Abilene. The staff was very kind and friendly. Our room was perfect for the two of us and our pup. The room was very clean and fresh. Thanks for a great stay.
