No place to take your dog to relieve themselves. Carpeting in the room is a no-no! While room was generally clean, the bathroom floor was not. Outside had cobwebs galore and mousetraps every other room. No coffee maker or small refrigerator like most motels in this price range. Would not recommend.

We only stayed 2 nights at Rim Rock, but would go back for a longer stay. The tenderloin at the restaurant was excellent. The cabin was spacious and had views on two sides. We ate dinner on the porch one night. Not much grass for doggie, so it took a little more time to find her a place to take care of business.

Great manager/owner, comfortable rooms, terrific dinner only restaurant on site. Although there is no dedicated (fenced) dog area there is ample room to walk, play and tend to dog business well away from the road, all backed by exquisite scenery.

Really close to Capitol Reef NP. Thunderstorms knocked out power to the whole town, so I won’t take a star off for that. Staff is super friendly, rooms are clean and basic, doesn’t smell like dogs. BBQ patio restaurant is really good and affordable.

Cozy room with nice views and a great restaurant attached with a pizza place in walking distance both with dog friendly patio. One of the closest to Capitol Reef NP. Also since Capitol Reef like most National Parks is not dog friendly they have a list of dog friendly hikes in their office.

The front desk did not even know they were a FIDO hotel!!! No pet area to walk the dog or potty. No special treatment for our pet. No pet services at all. Hotel was old and did not even have a fridge, coffee maker or microwave in the room! Bed was comfy and room was large. Had a deck to sit on, but very narrow. I would not recommend this hotel for people or for pet travelers. Very disappointed. Poor value for the money.

we spent one night here and it was amazing. Unexpectedly surprised to see the great views from our room. The food (and views) at the restaurant were also fabulous. This is also an International Dark Sky community and we were able to see the Milky Way.

The motel was clean and adequate. There are 2 restaurants and plenty of room for the dog to explore. Lots of things to see and do close by.
