Our room wasn’t very clean, and some damn cat kept trying to get in every time I opened the door. It sat out there and meowed all night. The people at the restaurant/gift shop/check in were very nice and the food there was great. It might have come with a free side of coronavirus though, about 2/3 of the people there were not wearing masks...including the lady who appeared to be running the joint. That was not uncommon in this area however...masks were not required at any of the places we went to. I’m glad we live in a country where their personal freedoms can reign supreme over my silly health concerns.

The room is OK, the door didn’t close flush and the lock was broken. When I arrived Reception didn’t wear a mask which I thought was really odd. Granted I arrive late but still you always should wear a mask if you’re working inside and in hospitality. When I checked out the receptionist working in the morning was wearing a mask but he barely acknowledged me as a person. I loved the cabin type rooms with old-style brass keys. This place has character. Great gift shop and good food. It was perfect after a long day driving. I would definitely stay here again if I'm in the area - and I hope to be!

This is a wonderful place! The rooms are comfortable, the food at every meal is excellent, and the people are kind and knowledgeable. Would stay there again!

Just a two day stay. Great place to see all around Capitol Reef. The Cafe was convenient and the food was great. Grassy area for the pooch.

Great place for our dogs to relax while we had some adventure. There is a little playground for kids. I only wish there was a fenced in dog run however it would not stop me from returning.

I Loved this place so much I did not want to leave! Sweet people, sweet room and furnishing, sweet restaurant food. Could not have been better....and much shade in the hot desert!
