We really enjoyed our stay with the puppies at the Home2 Suites in Roanoke (Airport). Nice, clean facility. Very puppy friendly, with lots of grass nearby. Friendly and helpful staff. Good location that was easy on/off I-81. Overall, a very pleasant experience. Will stay there again.

We were traveling through with our two dogs and just needed a place to crash. I called 3 other hotels in the area and they said we would have to wait until 2pm to check in. We were in town at 11am. Home 2 Suites took us right in and were so accommodating. Nice area outback for potty breaks, and the room was perfect for us. Staff was amazing!

It wasn’t terrible but after extending my stay the staff did not update that info into the computer so my keys did not work the second day. The walls and ceiling are very thin so you hear people walking above you and you hear music playing next door. Ok to good place for pets and nice large room with user friendly kitchen and large flat screen TV were bonus. Outdoor potty area nice enough and safe. Staff friendly but not necessarily knowledgeable.

There were more than a handful of unclean areas in the room and bathroom, as well as missing soap and shower gel. If it were something minor, I'd let it slide, but I didn't consider these things minor. I did talk to the GM about it. He seemed perturbed that it happened and took notes to delve into it to see where they dropped the ball. It would've been nice to have had some sort of offer from him, or a partial refund maybe for the cleaning that obviously didn't happen, but there was none. The room itself was huge (queen suite with pull out bed) and the hotel was quiet. The breakfast was average.

I booked and paid through BringFido 2 months before my trip. When we checked in, my dad put his card down for incidentals. They didn’t tell him but they charged him for the room (again! and at a higher rate!)
Luckily we caught it, but when we called the hotel they gave us a bunch of BS like “maybe” it’s because BringFido didn’t pay them on time (I booked 2 months ago) and that they “can’t tell” from their system if the room was paid through BringFido. Wouldn’t that mean every customer who books through BringFido gets double charged? AND they can’t see the rate?? Really strange. - CynthiaMar 27, 2022Great room but…
The room was large and clean but I had to call down to the front desk twice to complain about the noise in the room above us. Construction like noise that woke us up out of a sound sleep. Overserved party goers from 1:30-4:30 am non stop :(

We enjoyed our stay here with our pup! Only complaint was stained or dirty hand towels. We appreciated that they had a grassy area for dogs to go potty and provided a poop baggie dispenser. We would stay here again!

Beautifully clean, friendly staff, convenient location! Dog bones and a toy for our Lola when we checked in! Our room had a great kitchenette with perfect sized fridge and freezer, big microwave, nice deep sink and a full sized dishwasher. Kitchen towels, potholders and sponge with dish soap. Terrific breakfast and really lovely seating area in the lobby. I wish that every hotel we stay at could be just like this! Thank you to this perfect venue and it's attentive staff!!

The hotel room was spacious and clean and the staff were incredibly friendly. There were dog biscuits at the front desk and multiple dog waste stations on the grass. We will definitely stay here again if in the area.

I will now try to always find a Home2 Suites to stay. Many “dog friendly” places I’ve stayed in have been 2 star-worthy or sketchy. This hotel was so nice for me and my fur baby. So much room! I also lived that they offered dog treats in the hotel lobby.

This was a very nice Hotel in a very calm area. This was the nicest of the four hotels we stayed in on our trip. The reception was friendly. The room was very clean and larger than average. We were completely satisfied in every way. The hallways were quiet. Of the four hotels we stayed in on this trip, this was the only one that served an actual breakfast. There was plenty of space outdoors for walking the dog and the area appeared to be quite safe We were completely happy with our stay. I will add that even though we booked through BringFido, the receptionist's computer did not show that we had a dog with us. Nevertheless, there was no problem about staying there with him.

We like Home 2 but this location was not as clean as others. The lobby area also played music loud enough that we could hear it in our rooms early in the morning, and when I brought it to their attention, they said they couldn't change it. Person serving the breakfast was also a bit surly when asked for ice cubes and milk for my coffee (told I could go to the machine myself).

Very unhappy. Loud music from room next door. Had to go to front desk to resolve. Lots of teenagers on elevators. Hotel had good bit of wear n tear. Room felt dingy. Carpet worn n dirty. Towels same. Shower full of mold.

The staff was very helpful and welcoming. There were treats for our pup and pet poop disposal station was located outside. Our room was large and comfortable. There are plenty of gr great places to eat nearby. We recommend this hotel to anyone traveling with a pet.

Everything was lovely. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Friendly, helpful staff, clean and spacious room, delicious breakfast, great amenities and location. Lots of space to walk your dog around the property. And plenty of good restaurants to choose from. Would definitely stay here again!

The room is set up terrifically for people traveling with pets. There is more space and a small kitchen so you can eat in. We will use this hotel and ones like it again.

No real welcome from the staff for our two dogs not any interest in their welfare from the staff. The room was big but very much bare bones. Not great value for money.
