Great place to stay. Only issue was someone complained when our dog was left on the room for breakfast and we received a call from hotel and when we went to check she was sitting there doing nothing. The room next to us had a very large sounding dog that barked constantly but being a pet owner we didn’t complain. Great access to the beach and surround with things to do.

This was our first trip with our puppy and we felt very comfortable at Hyatt House. The employees loved her and many, many other guests had dogs which made it a much more relaxed experience for us -- not as worried as usual about her offending someone by being a normal puppy! :)

This hotel was very accommodating and pet friendly. The oceanfront rooms all have balconies overlooking the boardwalk and beach. Our dog loved spending time out there observing everything going on below. Very clean hotel with its own parking garage right around the corner (about 1/2 block away). The front desk staff always greeted us, and greeted our dog very enthusiastically.

I have two small daschunds and when two people arrived next door and were out on their balcony drinking and smoking, they called and complained my dogs were barking. My dogs were in crates by the sliding door to my balcony on the inside. Yes if they hear strangers talking and laughing they will bark. I was out for 20 mins with my sister and was told to return immediately to avoid further issues. It’s a dog hotel so put dogless people next to customers with dogs simple as that.

This place is lovely. They are so dog friendly and make you feel very welcome. I will definitely be returning to this location just note valet parking only at $20 per day.

We had a great time at Hyatt House....our pups loved the boardwalk & the balcony. The staff was super nice, Covid precaution made dining at the hotel a challenge, they had a grab & go breakfast which was okay. We plan to stay there again next November......the pup waste area in the back of the hotel was the cleanest one I've ever encountered......VERY pup friendly🐾🐾

Great view & location. This is now my go to spot when I’m in VA beach. very pet friendly. Rooms are clean. Didn’t really care for the breakfast though.

People were all so friendly, location was perfect, breakfast was fabulous. Wouldn't ask to be on such a high floor next time, we were on 18th, would go for something more in the middle. We were nervous of the height and didn't venturto the lovely balcony. Would certainly stop again.

They have a small table in the lobby with milk bones. There were a good amount of dogs there. Beach front and there’s even a grassy area out back for pups. Loved that there was not a floor restriction.

We just stayed the last four days here with our two dogs. This is a great hotel all around, but even more so for families that include fur babies. Our boys were welcomed with open arms. They have a nice pet area between the back of the hotel and the boardwalk, complete with poo bags if you've forgotten your own. They even gave us a hanger for the door so that staff could see we had our dogs there. We've already got two more stays booked!!
