  Great place

  The room was roomy and the bed was comfortable. The motel is nothing fancy but it fit our needs for the night. There is a lot of yard for dogs to explore and do their business. (People, please remember it's your responsibility to clean up after your pets, not the hotel.) The motel manager was very friendly and loved on our boy. You can tell she is a true animal lover.

  Lovely setting

  Decent room, comfortable bed, friendly staff. Next door restaurant has enclosed outdoor seating and is very good. Nice setting - you're out in the country but town is 10 minutes away. Why not five bones? Actual not quite up to what the pictures imply. For one thing, there are no pictures of the economy rooms. Although we had a decent stay, we expected something a little nicer.

  Great location

  You feel like you're far away from everything but town is only about 1 mile away. Very clean. Friendly owner and staff. Included breakfast is a nice bonus. Very accommodating of us and our 20 lb terrier chihuahua mix. Would definitely stay here again! 😊👍

  Wonderful location

  Besides being able to bring our 4 legged family member, the grounds were beautiful and well maintained. The rooms were clean and very welcoming. We will definitely be back.

  Impressive!

  I loved the artwork, the thick and thirsty towels, the lovely setting. It was very quiet. We never heard any of the other guests at all. The hosts have paid attention to the little details that make your stay truly enjoyable.

  Charming Motel!

  What a charming place to stay with a great location and beautiful view overlooking Bennington. The dogs were comfortable, and my two kids (and I!) enjoyed the hammock swing. Friendly, helpful staff!

  Plenty of outdoor space + charm

  Room was clean & comfortable with space for our medium-sized dog’s crate. Lovely sculpture-dotted grounds & screened gazebo. (Pack bug spray—mosquitoes abound!) Short walk to The Publyk House restaurant where dogs & their humans are welcome on the terrace. (Make reservations!) Nice continental breakfast of bagels, yogurt, etc. served in the motel’s dolled-up garage, a pandemic change from the small indoor lobby/office. Would stay here again with our pooch.

  Perfect Overnight

  This was such a nice place to start on our way through Vermont. Clean, spacious room, comfortable beds. We enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend. It was especially nice for bringing our dog who enjoyed the expansive backyard area to run and play in.

  Great for people and dogs

  Unusually charming while also completely dog friendly. Beautiful location with large field, good for ball or Frisbee throwing for the dog.

  Great for pets!

  We took our dog and had the end room. It was a great little place for our family to stay. Bring your own pillows though as the ones there were less than comfortable.

  This is a lovely motel. There was enough space for dog beds. Complimentary continental breakfast was a bonus...especially eating it on the beautiful grounds.

  Beautiful, Simple, and Accommodating

  They took awesome care of us. My dog got sick on the carpet and they were so sweet, no complaining. Wonderful place to stay. Cool artwork in front and in the rooms and a Million Dollar View of the Green Mountains.

  Nice small hotel

  Similar to a 50's motel with a real room key but much nicer. Small room but ok for dog and parents. Good grounds for exercise.

  The room was clean, plenty of room to walk your dog! Very charming! I had a room facing the mountain so that was a plus too. Very friendly and accommodating. We will absolutely be going back!
