The Salt Hotel may be my new fave weekend getaway. There are several antique shops and small art galleries within a dog’s walk of the hotel. We had a lovely room overlooking the harbor. The pub was literally next door to our room and we never heard it. Speaking of the pub, they were short-staffed on the day of our visit (and a storm was coming in)so we weren’t able to sit at the outdoor area, but in the summer it will be a great place to have a pint and a meal with your pup. We were traveling with friends so we tag-teamed dog-duties; half of us ate in the pub while the other half walked the pups around the harbor and then we swapped. The food was good and the beer selection excellent. Breakfast and coffee options were just a short stroll away as well. Altogether a great find.

Our room was clean and comfortable. Sometimes it can be difficult to sleep in a strange bed, but we slept very well. It was quiet, which was good for us and our two dogs. I would love to stay again when the pub is open, coming during the off season not much was open when we arrived at 6pm. Behind the motel, on the marina side, there is a very nice place to walk the dogs when they need exercise or to do their business.

Cute, vintage building with a coastal/industrial remodel and on-site pub. Due to the building age, I imagine first floor rooms could get noise from upstairs. Will definitely be back.

A clean, minimalist modern room on the marina, with good value for the price.
Very quiet despite having a restaurant/pub in the building. Family owned - staff was very friendly and accommodating. Will definitely be coming back when in the area!
