Off leash dog park across the street. Farm supply store next to it with plenty of dog supplies. Coffee stand in adjoining parking lot that gives treats to dogs. Staff is very dog friendly. Walking distance to restaurants. Twin bridges park and Lake Sylvia State Park nearby. Motel is just off the highway

Unfortunately, we left our room after the first night and did not return for the remainder of our stay there. The pictures do not represent the room we were put in. The room was very dated, not clean (my dog ate something off the floor, dried up food I had to dig out of her throat), very noisy due to tissue paper thin walls and you are literally right on the train tracks. Was kept up with neighbors tv until about 1130 or 12 at night and then they turned it on again about 540am. No I did not call the front desk because no one is available after 9pm. In between that time, 2 trains with whistles came through waking both humans and the dog who proceeded to bark and shake with fright from the noise. The bathroom sink and tub did not drain, the toilet seat was so worn the enamel coating was chipping off all over ( how does that get sanitized??), the walls had smears of god knows what and the extra safety lock on the front door was missing. We checked out in the early morning with a weak apology and after contacting BringFido, a refusal of refund for the second night. Beware as objects in pictures are not as they appear! Not a human or dog friendly place to stay!!
