      Peaceful and ample room

      While Gill's Rock is quite distant from the other "happening" cities in Door County, its location away from the maddening crowd is ideal for a nice retreat with pooch. The grounds are ample for walking the dog and allowing him to romp through the fallen tree leaves. Everything quite clean and tidy. The only issue is that the email message with door code was not sent on time. But I called the proprietor and he sent it to me directly instead of having to go through the Expedia/BringFido.com process, which still needs some improvement.

      Ground level suite

      Quiet ground level suite and plenty of room for 2 adults and 2 dogs.

      Nice little place at the top of the thumb.

      Clean, quiet area, easy check in/out. There was a central area with ice and basic kitchen supplies.

      Daisy at Harbor Light Inn

      Owners have an adorable miniature Schnauzer. They are very accommodating to dogs and owners and have great advice of places to go and see in the area. The room was very clean and they even do a campfire every night in the spacious grassy area. I would definitely go again and will tell others about Harbor Light Inn. Great place!
