Pretty standard fare, but the staff were very friendly and there is a large vacant lot just in front of the hotel for dog walks.

Staff and other guests were extremely nice to our dog and appreciated the training we have done with him and his quick obedience to our requests. He is especially responsive to sit, stay (can stay through a whole meal), come, and leave it. Suggest you put a book in each room for training dogs with just love - no treats, no anger and lots of petting and reinforcement. Have never seen a dog that does not respond to that method!

It was a great place to stay on my way through the west! The pet area outside was removed from high-trafficked areas which was great for my easily spooked dog. The 2 room suites are only on the 3rd floor, which was worth it for how many people I was traveling with, but good to know for anyone who needs a first floor room for their dog. The room was clean, the staff was very friendly, and it was a convenient spot off the interstate.

The accommodations were clean, roomy, quiet, and we felt safe amid Covid19 pandemic, especially because we were able to open the window and let fresh air in. We were delighted that this was a dog-friendly hotel-- it was the REASON why we chose to stay here, and yet the suite was free of odors and we didn't hear neighboring dogs barking the entire time. A shout out to various staff members: Marceil and Lothar who served up my scrambled eggs with pleasant conversation in the morning, as well as Jennette at thee front desk who was refreshingly candid and personable!
