    Good location, and happy pups!

My only complain was paying for parking and then not being able to use it. Since we were only in town for the night, it worked out fine but I was disappointed. Overall, a wonderful experience and location.

    Great stay!

This is a great location for someone who doesn’t want a noisy room but wants to stay close to the airport. Also great for someone who wants to stay near the beach! The hotel was very nice and it was no issue bringing my 90 pound mastiff/black lab mix. No extra charge and all. I will definitely be back.

    Great hotel all round

The hotel is perfectly located for LAX, but without any plane noise! We had to drop our pup at Lufthansa cargo for his flight to the UK and it was less than 5min drive in rush hour. The hotel is really nice and dog friendly and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

    Decent Hotel

Only dog friendly cuz no pet fee but there’s no grassy area on site for pet relief. There is a nice park down the street. Younger crowd here. Parking lot and hallway smelled like marijuana, but luckily the room did not. Humid, carpet felt damp. Beds were comfy. Good location and price for what we needed.

    nice place.

Very close to LAX. Nice place/rooms. Nice staff. Self-serve snacks and drinks on sale near front desk. There isn't anyplace on site to walk your dog but there is a really nice park one block in back of the hotel.

    Friendly hotel

We booked our hotel through "BringFido" since we were traveling with 2 large dogs. The booking was easy.

The front desk was very sweet and accommodating. I would say almost all the staff greeted our boys. And all asked if they can pet them. Very polite. Our dogs is a Bernese Mountain dog and a Belgian Malinois.

We stayed here on Thursday-Sunday Oct 17-20. The price was good. Especially for it being dog friendly. The rooms were small. So we didn't get to move around too much.

We did have an issue being at the pool with my 9 year old son, husband and both dogs. Our dogs are very well behaved. They don't really bark, they greet everyone. No issues.
So while I was watching my son swim, I put my feet in the water and had my Berner sit along side me. He drank the pool water. Which I don't see anything wrong with that. However, this man from the same hotel we stayed at, looks out his window, and starts yelling at all of us. Saying it's disgusting that I would allow my dog to drink the pool water. He says pool swim in that you know. I didn't engage. All I said was ok. And continued on with my family time.

The guy called the front desk to make a complaint about us. The front desk handled the situation nicely. She was trying to be flexible on both sides. But this man came out of his window again and was continually yelling at us. Luckily some bystanders saw what happened and backed us up on this. But the rule was, the dogs couldn't be as close to the pool as my dog was, but they were able to be in the pool area. So I move, no problem.
As we were getting ready to leave. I was drying up my son, and my husband grabs his Belgian and pets him down, and this man comes out again and was yelling at my husband, so we decided to yell back. Then made a complaint to the front desk that this man continued to harass us with our dogs. The guest who stayed there complained and we did.
The manager ended up comping us with some freebies. But I was still bothered that we got harassed by this man. This is a pet friendly hotel. And maybe he didn't know that.

But to end this review, we still had a great time which is why the full stars was given. I will come back here since this is the only dog friendly hotel I found in the area. Thank you Aloft for the great stay!

Hotel not set up to be pet friendly

Very loud entrance to check in, bar and pool table all in check in area. We asked if there is another entrance to take our dog in because he is scared of loud noises and is handicapped, was told there wasnt. We arrived late at night and asked where to take dogs to go to the bathroom. We were told right in front by the road. Which is a 4x3 area with a bush that is a foot tall. Or there is a dog park a couple blocks from the hotel. First of all my dog cant walk that, 2nd I wouldn't walk around town 11:30 at night, 3rd i shouldn't have to take my dog several blocks to relieve themselves. When walking to room there was vomit on floor in hall by public bathroom. We told front desk about it and they said they where waiting for housekeeping. We had to take our dogs back out in middle of night because they didnt go bathroom earlier, and vomit was still on floor. Room was small, noise frig, have to paid additional for parking. Other people reviewed gift bag for there pet, we didnt receive anything. I dont feel this is a pet friendly place, there should be a place for them to go to the bathroom on the property!

    Great Pet Friendly Place

We stayed 2 nights with Aloft in El Segundo. The hotel is absolutely pet friendly and there is no pet fee. They provide you a doggy gift upon checkin: cookies for the dog, a toy, wipes and pop bags.
You can access most of the places in the hotel with the dog (except pool area). They also provide bikes free of charge so you can bike with your dog to Manhattan beach area (although the dog is not allowed on the beach).
To sum it up - absolutely recommend.

    Wonderful stay

Highly recommend this hotel. Our two pups were treated like royalty. They received a goodie bag upon arrival and lots of love from the friendly staff. Grass areas around the hotel is limited but enough for the dogs to do their business. Rooms were super clean. Hotel located in a perfect location close to the airport and surrounded by a good variety of dining options.
