Sweetwater Branch Inn is the most wonderful place we stayed during this long road trip from California to Florida and back home to California. Besides a superb dog-friendly cottage near a park, breakfast was amazing. Gourmet breakfast and pastries in a charming vintage house. Blue Bayou had a good time too.
We chose a cozy cottage, Sarah’s. It was very clean and well-appointed. Plenty of room for the pups and I really enjoyed the rocking chairs on the covered patio. Beautiful dog friendly park steps away. Staff was gracious and breakfast was delicious. Great pup place at a very reasonable rate. No complaints.
My husband, adult son, our 4-year old Aussiedoodle Mac and I stayed last night in this charming B&B in the center of Gainesville's "B&B" district. The Victoria Cottage was perfect for us! The kitchen with eat-in area is large, with a welcoming front porch and beautifully landscaped grounds. The neighborhood is great for walking our guy, and he was very comfortable in his travel crate in the front room. From the delicious breakfasts to the complimentary wine & cheese daily, the filtered water in the kitchen, and friendly staff we really enjoyed our brief stay! Definitely I recommend this wonderful pet-friendly B&B. Be sure to choose a cottage which allows pets, and be aware there is an additional $75 charge for your 4-legged family member.
Will definitely be staying here again. No pet waste stations but Lester’s Place (cottage we stayed in) had a local park right behind us so perfect for walkies and poop breaks. For the humans, food is 10/10 and so is the hospitality. Will be staying here again in the near future.
We really enjoyed our stay! The room BringFido booked for us was not dog friendly somehow, but they switched our reservation and everything worked out. The inn was on cute property with a beautiful park right next to it. The staff was lovely and accommodating. Highly recommend. Just call and confirm details with them after you book.
