However, only Golf Course Double Queen Rooms and Golf Course Single King Rooms are pet friendly. Guests with pets must call (877) 411-3436 prior to booking to verify availability of a pet-friendly room or risk not being able to check in with a pet and/or incurring any associated cancellation penalties. Both dogs and cats are allowed, and crated pets may be left unattended in rooms. There are pet relief areas on the property.

Great stay at Cheeca! KeyZ charters allows dogs on the boat. Captain Henry gave us an excellent tour and snorkeling at Rainbow Reef was fantastic. Nearby restaurants are also dog friendly. Gorgeous landscaping and trails/beach were perfect for long walks. Cheeca is the best of the Keys. Fido loved it.

Doggies were welcome anywhere on the property, from the hotel lobby, to bars, to restaurants and on the beach and pier. All staff members were super attentive and friendly to our girl. Impressive!

At check-in staff was unaware of the properties per policies. After a few minutes while the registration staffer went to find a manager to talk to the manager, I was told that the dog was not allowed anywhere on the property except for the room. Restaurants do not allow pets or any of the other buildings including the heat registration area.
