  Perfect destination to bring your dog

  Beachview Club Hotel was the perfect place to bring our doodle for a quick getaway. They are the definition of dog friendly and make your pup feel as welcome as any other guest. And with their convenient location by the beach, there is so much to do with your pup. A must stay for pups and their humans.

  Amazing for Dog Owners

  I have been coming to Jekyll Island for a few years. I go in the spring and the fall as a way to survive the crazy work projects. I have a large black lab mix - 80 lbs - he is sweet and well behaved but that doesn't always matter for some locations who are more concerned about size. Once I found Beachview I haven't tried to stay anywhere else. I love that its as close to the beach as you can get, that is has beautiful areas to sit under the oak trees and that the staff is so friendly.

  This last visit I booked directly and found that if you book directly they supply the dog bed and bowls; in the past I booked thru Bring Fido and didn't realize they provided this with the pet fee! While Jekyll Island requires your dog be on leash at all times, unlike other islands in the area, its worth it. It's a very dog friendly island and my dog Capone loves staying at Beachview. He starts whining excitedly when we pull in the lot. If you are traveling with your pup - no matter the size - I would recommend, but just make sure I can get a room whenever I need too!

  Perfect Location!

  We stayed here over a 3-day holiday weekend (January 2023; a little late posting here) and will be back without question! We traveled with two adults and two 50+ lb. pit bull mixes. After check-in, we were greeted with complimentary champagne and head scratches and treats for the pups. The room was clean and had plenty of room for all our things, including our dog crates. We stayed on the ground floor with a patio. There is keycard access through the front and back door, which was great for taking the dogs for walks around the hotel's grassy areas, the nearby paved beach front walking path, beach, and neighborhood sidewalks. The bed was very comfortable and the room had a microwave and mini fridge with complimentary sodas, juices, and bottled waters. The property was well maintained and quiet with a nice firepit area.

  Wonderful hotel

  The staff is warm and welcoming like they were just waiting for you to arrive. Lovely grounds, super clean room. Lots of dogs and even one very large cat. All guests were very friendly in this small sweet hotel.

  Challenging thin walls. Lots of noise outside. Barking hard to contain as so many dogs placed in abutting rooms in one area.

  Fantastic Location!

  Couldn’t ask for a better location on Jekyll Island, steps to the bike path and beach. Rooms were lovely, clean, and quiet. The staff couldn’t be nicer or more accommodating to us and our doggie! A hidden gem!

  I would highly recommend Beachview Club Hotel. I have a big dog and finding locations that will accept him is difficult. In the spring I made a last min reservation at another hotel in the same area and it was ok. I knew I needed a recharge break in between big projects at work so I decided to give this hotel a shot. From start to finish this place was so much better! Will texted me when my room was ready early. He had a glass of champagne for me while we checked in and was very informative. I love that they had the dog owners on the first floor so it was easier for Capone and I to unload the car and just get out in general. The room was a beach hotel room - if you expect very fancy this isn't your place but it was clean and modern. Capone could go anywhere except for the pool which is awesome. Will checked on us each day to make sure we didn't have any issues. The fact that our room lead straight to the bike trail / walking path and on to the beach was the best. We started each morning with a walk on the beach outside our room and explored other parts of the island throughout the day. On the way home we stopped at St. Simmons so Capone could run off leash on the beach and he was able to get his zoomies out for our 5 hour ride home. If you have a dog - especially a big one - this is a must try location.
