I would have given this 5 bones if it had a dog relief area and, due to the age of the building it can’t be helped, quieter A/C.
I am a sucker for old architecture and this hotel provided a journey into the past. Beautifully restored art deco style, it’s worth stopping in even if you don’t stay. It’s in the heart of the adorable historical downtown and we enjoyed a long stroll checking everything out. We loved Silver City and would definitely stay at the Murray when we come back!

Lovely hotel in the middle of town with friendly staff and dog-friendly rooms on the 2nd floor.

We ended up here after another property proved to be unacceptable and we could not have been happier. What a beautiful and historic property! We and our pup were greeted with smiling faces and a nice clean room. Very dog friendly and the downtown area was a perfect spot to walk our dog and explore the town. Not a lot of true grass in this part of the country, so depending upon how picky your pup is it may be a little challenging getting them to understand where to do their business, but other than that, great stay!!

They gave us a handicap room on the second floor that was very small and had a shower that took up a lot of room space. The floor was dirty and there is no good place in the area to walk your dog.
