Room was fine, but shower very small and no tv.

Great location to the wharf and shops! Rick the owner was super nice and extremely accommodating. Upgraded our room for free cause we have a larger dog. Let us check out late and leave are car parked while we went and grabbed lunch. Will definitely be back!

Location was walking distance to so many restaurants, bars, shops and the center of everything. The room was clean and comfortable, and our dog was welcomed (I would recommend bringing your own dog bed). The staff was friendly and very helpful. I would absolutely stay here again.

Alice and I loved our stay at Melville House!! It was adorable, the staff was super friendly, and the location could not have been better for a walkable Newport experience! They did say to make sure we call ahead to let them know a dog is coming, as only some of their rooms are pet-friendly.

Historic old homes turned into hotel rooms, very charming, but don't expect the grand hotel. Excellent location with parking included. Very welcoming staff.

We wanted to stay close to the wharf in Newport and this location was perfect. The staff were very accommodating! We would recommend this place and look forward to returning soon!
