This historic, cozy cottage at the entrance to the estate is the original gatehouse for the property. Set in a pretty garden with shady trees in summer, Gatehouse Cottage offers an outdoor veranda, a dining room and a lounge with an open wood fireplace, gas heating, a 2-seater couch, books, music, a TV and a DVD player. There are beautiful stained glass windows and clear windows, which overlook the garden. The bedroom has a queen-sized bed and is adjacent to a spa room, which has a 2-person spa bath. Both bathrobes are provided. In a separate bathroom there is a toilet, shower and a vanity.
