A peaceful oasis situated near the 13th Century Grand Beguinage, recently added to the list of UNESCOs world heritage sites and within walking distance of the historic city centre of Leuven, Begijnhof Hotel offers a unique surrounding. The rooms offer a beautiful view of the surrounding gardens and river Dijle as it winds its way past the hotel and the picturesque houses of the Grand Beguinage. In the evening, one can enjoy the nicest Belgian Beers with a light snack in a cozy bar with orangery. In the morning, breakfast is served in the most beautiful room of the house, an authentic restored part of the Grand Beguinage. For sports enthusiasts there is a fitness room and a sauna to relax. One can also enjoy biking, walking, or running in the woods of Leuven, just opposite the hotel. The hotel has six suites which are spacious and have a separate sitting room with a minibar, coffee and tea facilities, and a Jacuzzi. All rooms are beautifully decorated and are equipped with desks, cable TV, radios, telephones, wireless Internet access, air-conditioning, comfortable beds with duvet, and bathrooms with hairdryers. Special rates are available for long term stays on request direct to the hotel. The hotel has on site parking at a cost, per day. Children aged 12 and under stay free in the room with parents and in existing bedding.
