Built in typical Italian style and overlooking the bar, Grand Hotel Excelsior Amalfi is surrounded by pinewoods and located approximately half a mile from St Andrew's Cathedral and Heaven's Cloisters (13th century basilica) and 31 miles from Naples Airport. This location is also a mile from Villa Cimbrone and two miles from Villa Rufolo. Hotel amenities include an outdoor swimming pool with an adjacent grill bar that overlooks the private beach to which guests have exclusive access via the Free shuttle (open from June until late September).
