We spent one night on a road trip. I appreciated the low pet fee since we have 2 dogs. The hotel was simple but comfortable, clean, quiet, and safe. I’d stay again without hesitation.

This was our first stay at this pet friendly chain. So glad we took a chance and tried it out. Everything was top notch. Super clean, many grassy areas with pet clean up station, comfortable bed, reasonable pet fee, friendly staff, quiet rooms. We only stayed a night but would not hesitate to book a longer stay. I will be seeking this establishment out for our future travels.

Never heard of the chain and I was very skeptical based on the price point and low pet fee. It was nicer than the DoubleTree we paid three times as much for the night prior. Our pup was greeted and offered a milk bone. We were treated well. 24/7 coffee was good. This place represented the franchise well and I will look for more in future travels. My only knock is that the bed was really soft. If you need a firm mattress, your pup may sleep better than you.

Pros: The room was fine; no complaints there. They were very nice to us and to our dog. Also, several nearby restaurants. Cons: no poo bags available, and just a strip of grass for a potty area. A "continental breakfast" was advertised for something like $7.49, but the reality turned out to be more like vending machine food: pre-made burritos, pastries, egg & sausage muffins and juices in a refrigerator. No breakfast service.

My Place Council Bluffs was in a great location close to the Mid-America Center, where we were attending a dog show. The room was clean and comfortable. Although we were on the third floor, our room was at the very end of the hall, and right next to the stairwell. There was an abundance of green space for walking the dogs. The grounds were clean and well-maintained. The bed was comfortable, and the heat worked great. Water pressure was amazing, and there was plenty of instantly hot water. There was a great selection of TV channels from which to choose, too. Check-in and check out was a breeze, and the staff was incredibly friendly. There was a wide variety of places to eat within 5-10 minutes away. I would definitely stay here again.

We enjoyed our one night stay at My Place. Large room, 1st floor, full size fridge, recliner, and we were able to watch the Chiefs game! There was a $10 pet fee that I hadn’t seen mentioned anywhere on Booking.com, but we were happy to pay for this clean hotel.

Not as nice as the Best Western in Lincoln, NE. Must have been a different previous owner before MY Place. No free breakfast either.

We enjoyed this stay with our two good boys. We were given a room on the ground floor with easy access to the dog relief area. The room itself was clean and comfortable. Only complaint is that the hotel is right on a busy street, so there was a lot of traffic noise. But we felt safe enough and loved that this location was in close proximity to many attractions.

Our first stay at a My Place Hotel, and if they are all like this we have a new favorite place to stay with our cats. Travel will cats in not the easiest - about half of the "pet-friendly" hotels only allow dogs. I am thrilled to have an alternative to La Quinta Inn. Pet rooms are on the 4th floor. There is a pet fee of $10. The plus side: the lobby and hallways are clean, the rooms are clean and feel updated, and there is quite a bit of space in the room (we had two queen beds). Air conditioning worked well on a 90 degree day. The beds were quite firm - be warned if you prefer soft mattresses. The pillows are crazy level of soft, but housekeeping did this thing of squishing and tucking, making them square-shaped, teaching me how to make even the flimsiest of pillows nice and firm. They had nice little additions, like a built-in power block with USB connectors on the nightstand and a laundry basket in the room. Loved having the full-size refrigerator and if you call ahead they will turn on the ice machine - score! Plenty of ice for our cooler for the next long day on the road.
Minuses were few: because of Covid regulations (I assume) the kitchenette had nothing in it - no pots, pans, plates, mugs, silverware - nada. Just the little coffee maker and two plastic cups in the bathroom. It was a very quiet hotel overnight, but when we first arrived we could hear dogs barking in neighboring rooms. That quieted down. Also, across the street there was some sort of barbecue or gathering with about 200 bikers and lots of music. Nothing the hotel could control and it seemed to quiet down by 9pm. There were no luggage carts, which would have been very useful with all the stuff we need to lug around with the cats. Lastly, this is not exactly a beautiful part of town. Felt safe, mostly quiet, just felt like an area still being built up with no pretty part of walking areas nearby.

The property is well maintained and the room was fresh and thoroughly cleaned. I wiped down surfaces as an extra precaution and they were spotless. I felt very comfortable in regards to covid. . It was quiet even though it is located right off a very busy street. The grass outside is well watered and in good shape for dogs. It is really convenient to have a kitchen when traveling by myself with my dogs. I stayed here twice within a two month time frame and it exceeded my expectations both times. What a pleasant surprise!

Great green space and pick up station. They did put us on the 3rd floor, which was a bit annoying, but more exercise for our girl. :)
