The hotel staff were great and the dog relief area was one of the best we’ve experienced for our pets to use. The hotel is right across from VT and in perfect location for many other amenities including restaurants and shopping.
The only reason they lost a bone is because of the water saving shower. No water no pressure, I had to press the wand into my head to get shampoo out and it took a good five minutes to do that. Otherwise it’s a great place.
I stayed here to split up a long drive with my two dogs. The location was great, about a mile from the main part of Blacksburg but it was very walkable (plus, dogs who have been in the car all day need a good walk!). The room was nice and had lots of space.
This new hotel has great rooms and amenities and is close to a wide variety of food options. We were happy to pay the $65 pet fee as they were welcomed in all areas of the hotel and we were able to walk behind adjacent buildings. We will come again!
Visited Virginia Tech with my daughter, wife and dog. Very clean, gave us a high floor and across the street from VT. Toby liked the spacious and clean room.
