Comfortable, quiet and clean
Comfort Inn Petersburg Near Fort Gregg-AdamsThis place was easy to get to from I-95, reasonably priced and clean. The staff were all very friendly, and we were given a room on the ground floor. I’d stay there again.
Good location
Alexander InnA friendly, quiet hotel. The room was comfortable and the dogs were well received, as were we. My only complaint is that the air conditioning unit (under window) ROARED, making it hard to sleep. It was a warm, humid night, so we were happy to have the ac, however. Another slight inconvenience: there are no green areas for dog potty breaks nearby. Our dogs are not great on going on concrete, so we made the trek to Washington Square Park. A good hotel though, reasonably priced.
Comfortable and clean hotel
Hyatt Place Blacksburg UniversityFriendly staff and tidy grounds, this hotel is in a good location. The room on the 6th floor was great, and very quiet.
Beautiful hotel, very disappointing experience
Hotel Parq CentralWe were so much looking forward to staying in this hotel, and had booked a room with a king sized bed, as we have 2 medium sized dogs, one of whom likes to sleep with us. Plus, we are both tall, and are used to sleeping in a king. Upon arrival, we were told by the woman at check-in that they were overbooked due to a wedding. Since we had booked via a "third party website" (BringFido), the manager had decided that we would be demoted to a smaller room in an annex. This in itself was no problem for us, it was very quiet in the annex.
BUT...the room was tiny, very dark, and the bed was a FULL (double) sized bed, not even a queen. Pretty small for 2 tall people and a 45lb dog! We went back to reception and complained, and were told that the manager was not there, but had made the decision, and so too bad. The room was so small that it was difficult to fit the soft side fold up crate that our other dog (also 45lb) sleeps in. Needless to say, not a good night's sleep. This was in early September. We were traveling cross-country (CA to FL), over 400 miles a day, and had booked over a week ahead. We had to really badger them to waive the pet fee, but other than that, they were not willing to give any discount on the room, and it is not a cheap hotel. So disappointing, I will not be back, nor do I recommend the place.
Very quiet hotel beside a big park
Residence Inn Marriott FlorenceCheck-in was easy, friendly and helpful staff. The room was clean and comfortable. There are plenty of restaurants close by and breakfast was hot and plentiful. Reasonable pet fee.
Good location, worn out rooms
Comfort Inn & Suites AirportThis hotel could use an upgrade in the rooms, at least on the ground floor. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. Lots of green space across the street to run the dogs. The room smelled musty and the AC unit blows directly on the bed. Bathroom floor feels damp the whole time.
A quiet and comfortable overnight stay
La Quinta by Wyndham Clinton Historic Route 66We had a quiet stay at this hotel, lots of large green areas to run our dogs, and the people working there are friendly and helpful. We got in late do I don’t know much about the surrounding area, but it was comfortable and a good stop off I-40.
Friendly place
My Place Hotel - Bend OrThe people working here were very friendly. The room was pretty comfortable, though cramped. There is a complete kitchen with not a single dish, utensil, glass or pot or pan. You can buy them (wtf?) downstairs at the desk. Too bad. You’d think they could come up with s system if paying s deposit on stuff. All the more shame as there is no restaurant close by. Otherwise fine.
Comfortable hotel, good location
Centennial Hotel SpokaneThis comfortable hotel is in a great location right next to Riverfront Park, with great walking paths. There are green spaces surrounding the hotel, good for dogs! It is within walking distance of downtown and many restaurants. The room price was very good. We were placed in a ground floor room with easy access to outdoors, great for the dogs. Everyone we encountered working at the hotel was very friendly and helpful.
Good location, a bit worn
Residence Inn Orlando Altamonte Springs/MaitlandThis is one of the older Residence Inns, and we were given the accessible unit, never my favorite. It is fairly comfortable, but a bit dingy, and there was some sort of perfume smell in the room. I was also charged $100 for the pet fee, not $70 for 2 dogs as advertised. Still, I'd stay there again as there are not so many dog friendly places locally.
