Lava Mountain Lodge
Lava Mountain Lodge allows two dogs up to 50 lbs for an additional fee of $30 per pet, per stay. Dogs may not be left unattended at any time. There are grassy areas for pet relief on the property. The lodge also has corrals for boarding horses on site. Cats are not permitted. For same day arrivals, please call 877‑411‑3436 to confirm availability of a pet-friendly room.

Lava Mountain Lodge is a 2-star property situated in Dubois. Featuring a restaurant, the property also features barbecue facilities and a garden. Each room is equipped with a balcony with mountain views. Guests can check-in anytime after 3:00 pm and are requested to check-out by 11:00 am. Dogs are also welcome. Please inform Seashell Cottage in advance of your expected arrival time. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly with the contact details provided in your confirmation. Guests under the age of 25 can only check in with a parent or official guardian who is also staying in the unit. Please note if the reservation is canceled, the total amount plus all fees (including the service charge and taxes) are non-refundable. Please note that linen is not included. Our stay at Lava Mountain was less than ideal. The bathroom had feces in the toilet, hair in the shower, and was overall dirty. The water coming out of the facet was not clear, but rather an opaque white. There was a nice area outside to walk your dog, but I still wouldn’t recommend this lodge. I wouldn’t stay here again unless there was no other option.

They were super friendly with us and our dog and highly recommend visiting. However, we were surprised to learn that our cozy cabin did not come with bedding. And while we knew we had shared showers, we did not expect to have to pay for them. The view was great and they were good with our dog so all good

Safe Stay: Lava Mountain Lodge has enhanced cleaning and safety measures in place. Hand sanitizer is provided to guests, and rooms are disinfected between each stay. Social distancing measures are in place, as well as physical barriers between staff and guests. Each room has a 24-hour gap period between stays, and hotel staff are required to wear masks.
