The Blue Heron Inn
The Blue Heron Inn welcomes one dog up to 25 lbs in designated rooms for an additional fee of $50 per stay. Guests with dogs must call (877) 411-3436 prior to booking to verify availability of a pet-friendly room or risk not being able to check in with a dog and/or incurring any associated cancellation penalties. Dogs may be left unattended in rooms, but housekeeping will only service rooms if unattended dogs are crated. There is a grassy area for pet relief on the property. Cats are not permitted.

This inn in December is like something out of a Hallmark Christmas romance. Very dog friendly. Comfortable. Clean. A safe haven in a storm. Highly recommended!

The location was beautiful!! Nice walking trails close by!! Pine lake was clean and beautiful . The rooms were roomy and clean . Close to Indiana sand Dunes NP. Restaurant at hotel was delicious .

Beautiful room with a view of pine lake. We enjoyed this spot tremendously with grassy parks in either side of the hotel and marina. Restaurant on property was excellent too. We will stay here again.
