    The Whaler

    The Whaler welcomes pets of any size for an additional fee of $20 per pet, per night. All pet-friendly rooms are located on the ground floor. Both dogs and cats are allowed, but pets may not be left unattended in rooms. Pet blankets are provided, and there is a grassy area for pet relief on the property.

      Great stay, great location!

      The staff was very friendly, and the room was clean and comfortable. There were dog biscuits in the lobby as well as fresh popcorn and hot beverages. There was a nice paved beach access across the street with a small grassy area, bathrooms, trash cans and a poop bag dispenser. Great restaurants were close by. My 90 pound rescue mut loved running on the beach and getting treats in the lobby. We brought our own blanket to cover the bed, which was very comfortable. Can’t wait to stay again!

      Older hotel but well maintained

      Needs some renovation. Carpet needs to be replaced and a paint job interior would be a plus.

      Great view and great service

      When we checked on they gave us a sheet and treats for each dog. The room was nice and had a balcony with a great view of the ocean. The staff were friendly and helpful. The walk to the beach is fairly direct. We could hear the ocean from our room and that's important for me!
