This is a small business and the pride of ownership shows. Not fancy, but one of the cleanest places we’ve Stayed in. Quiet and with plenty of dog space.

The host was waiting for us and gave us such a warm welcome. The room is perfect—not Hilton but the sort of old fashioned motels you might dream about. Don’t expect high end, but as a longtime conference-goer, I can do without It. Real coffee cups—not styrofoam. Cookies and mints, and sweetly folded hand towels. They have a nice very large grassy area for walking your pooch—nicer and larger by far than the pathetic “pet areas” at rest stops and most hotels (I’m looking at you, La Quinta).

Golden West Motel was a great find. Very friendly greeting by Luisa who is the owner. Very clean rooms and although it is an older property the rooms have been attractively maintained and renovated. Lots of nice touches. Huge grassy area for the pooch.

This is a very cute motel. The proprietors are lovely people. The room was small but clean, functional, and comfortable. We ate dinner outside on the lawn at the picnic table.

After a long day of driving, we were happy to finally pull into the Golden West Motel. It is nothing fancy, but it was the PERFECT place to stay. There was plenty of room for us and our dog. We got take-out for dinner and the table and chairs in the room was just the right size have a comfortable dinner. Our dog was able to go over to the field across the parking lot to do his business. We had plenty of room to hang up clothes. Parking was right in front of our room, so it was easy to load and unload the car. Luisa was so kind and informative when we checked in. I would stay here the next time I'm in Klamath Falls.
