Pros: good spot to walk pup in interior courtyard. Nice, clean pool. Pet-friendly guests. Cons: sketchy location with dilapidated buildings behind. Mediocre breakfast with corn tortillas that fall apart, 'real' eggs that would lose a fight with powdered, sausage patties that lost their way to Flavortown, all served on styrofoam plates and bowls.

Pretty shabby property in a pretty sketchy location. I brought my car around front every night and parked it under the front lobby lights - the parking lot was NOT secure. Sheets and bathroom were clean with that nice Clorox smell. There is no "Inn" and there are no "Gardens." There's an enclosed grass area where it's apparent all the dogs go - and they have to, because everything else for 1/2 mile is asphalt. You can drive a short way to Boyd Park on the Animas River to give your animals a real walk. Popular with the unhoused, but they didn't bother me at all. My cable TV quit one night, and the magnetic door cards kept getting erased so I was locked out repeatedly and had to trek to the front desk. Farmington is an oil boom/bust town now in perma-bust, so this may be the best you can find here if travelling with animals. But, I'll not stay again.

The entire experience was wonderful. Great enclosed garden space for the dog to romp. Good breakfast. Terrific room. Can’t wait to stay there again!
