  Six bones out of five!

  This is the place - the place you always wish for when travelling with your pup. It's small (same local owners for over a decade), has loads of amenities (like a basket of stuff to help take care of your dog). Appealingly decorated and has wonderful courtyard areas just outside the units to make lounging outside with your dog pleasant and easy. The owners are so thoughtful and love dogs themselves so you get a place that's easy for you and pleasant for everyone. I cannot recommend this place highly enough.

  Quirky comfortable lodging

  Really cute, quirky place. Made staying in TorC worthwhile. Appreciated the dog linens, towels and poop bag(s). Very helpful manager.

  Wonderful stay!

  We're traveling cross country with our two dogs on the way to the east coast for work so needless to say, it's been stressful. The Rocket Inn was a wonderful place to rest after the first leg of our journey. The area was safe, the owner was thoughtful and helpful, and a little dog kit was provided with a water bowl and some towels. The room was tidy and well kept and the bed was comfortable! If we ever end up in Truth or Consequences again, I would love to book here for another stay.

  Friendly staff

  The motel room was clean and it's a cute, quaint motel. The lady who checked me in was very helpful in letting me know what activities there are in the area and letting me know about the dog park I could take my dog, Auggie.

  Very Cute Hotel

  Older hotel completely updated. It was nice to be able to support a small business owner, not a chain. Rooms were very nice and comfortable. There is a grassy area on side and back of building. There are tables and chairs to sit outside and enjoy the fresh air. Once my dogs settled down I'd say they were comfortable too. Not normally a fan, but there is a dog park down the street, that I hope to make use of before I get on the road again this morning. I would love to make a trip back here without my dogs to visit the cute town. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

  Great Place for Dogs and People

  I’ve now stayed at the Rocket Inn three times, and had a great experience each time. The location is good for walking downtown, there is a dog park with lots of friendly dog owners just down the road, the room included a box with extras for my dog, and the bed was very comfortable — best sleep I’ve had in a hotel recently. The atmosphere is very relaxing with chairs outside the rooms and in a central area, and the staff is very helpful with great restaurant recommendations. I’ll be back!

  Very Nice Rooms Limited Dog Walk Area

  The renovated rooms were very well done, excellent bathroom. The rooms are tight which is to be expected for a motel of that era. This was the only place we stayed with dog bowl, blanket and towels for our pet. One thing that I must say if you're used to a firm bed this is not the place, at least the bed in our room seemed to be from the original owners. As we traveled west the stickers or burrs were becoming more of a problem and this was also the case here. Therer is an alley behind the motel for the pets to relieve themselves, beware though, plenty of stickers and trash.

  Friendly, pretty, thoughtful

  The Rocket Inn is relaxed, with a nice outdoor space. They had a special box with dog bowls, poop bags, a dog blanket, etc.—just one facet of how organized and lovely the rooms are.
