This is the worst motel I've ever stayed in in my life. The smell is horrible. My room was filled with flies to which the management said all they could do was give me a fly swatter. I felt really creeped out. The pictures and write up online did not match the actual motel at all. My dog almost refused to go into the motel room. Had to drag him in. That says a lot. Maybe if you're traveling a long distance and need a place to sleep +without a dog, this motel would work. But if you're traveling and want a comfortable place to stay with your dog, this is a creepy place to stop.

We got caught in a derecho on the way which put us behind schedule. At 9:48 pm the owner called us to see if we were still coming and what time to expect us. It was going to be very late so he arranged for us to get into our room without hassle and was very gracious about it. The room was larger that I expected and was a non-smoking room. So often the designated pet-friendly rooms reek like cigarettes. I will go there again as this is a trip I take regularly.
