I wanted to like this hotel. It’s in an historic building in an interesting neighborhood. But the stay was anything but likeable. The hotel is hard to navigate. One elevator wouldn’t stop at my floor. The noise was absurd—I could hear them having sex then putting their tv on full blast for the rest of the evening. This is a hotel with apartments. The residents were having parties and running up and down the hall for most of the night. The room itself was a disaster, clean but hot like a sauna. My dog could barely sleep it was so hot—he stayed up all night panting. One would think this could be solved with the thermostat, but there was no thermostat. The radiator that kept pumping warm air into the room clanked and pinged all night, the bed creaked, and the toilet wouldn’t stop running. Police went by with sirens four times that night. After only one hour of sleep, I can say this hotel leaves a lot to be desired.

We unfortunately did not stay for very long, less than 12 hours, but the room was clean, and the staff were very approachable and helpful. The dogs enjoyed their time, and there were plenty of places to take them for a walk right outside the hotel. I enjoy the old, traditional look, but if you want super luxurious, this is not for you. Thank you for the enjoyable stay Lenox!
