    Great Spot

    Hotel is well kept up. Very dog friendly. Nice selection of hot breakfast foods and for us convenience to Highway is a must.

    We have stayed here several times on our way further south. Impressed with it's cleanliness and close to restaurants. The lady working in the breakfast area so very friendly & helpful. She even carried our Shih Tzu to the car for us on departure when our arms were full.

    Great location, clean rooms, friendly staff

    The hotel was clean and close to restaurants. The room was large, clean and had hard flooring, which was great for our dog. The staff were helpful and stayed calm when an unexpected emergency happened. The only concern is that the rooms need more soundproofing. We had trouble sleeping as our dog kept alerting as you could hear ever little movement from people and dogs in the hallway and adjoining rooms. Overall we would stay here again.

    More than impressed

    We showed up needing a room in the middle of the night with our children and our Great Dane and got a beautiful room, very clean and super pet friendly! Do not hesitate to stay here. The rates can’t be beat and the hotel was nice and clean!

    Door slamming all night long

    We got minutes of sleep. Seriously. Right next to the exterior door. It should have been disabled for overnight hours both for safety and comfort of guests. The one dog alerted to it a number of times. As well. They also didn’t have coffee in the lobby because of a COVID shortage?? Breakfast was prepackaged muffins or pastries.

    Convenient to Interstate

    Stayed overnight on a trip from FL to NC. No pet fee charged! Staff was nice. Room clean. Only on is I have is a big dog is big and the available (carpeted) floorspace for her to sleep on was inadequate. I ended up putting a blanket I had brought over the bed so she could sleep with me. Oh yeah, not a lot of area to walk your dog but they do have a poop bin complete with poo bags. :-)
    All in all, good place to stop overnight but not to stay for any length of time if you have a big dog.

    Great spot, good breakfast!

    Very nice, new hotel, with good dog walking areas around it. Only negative was finding a couple of small stray plastic items in the corner by the bed when we arrived. Wasn’t a problem for our dogs, but the cleaning had apparently not been completely thorough! Everything else did seem clean, though. We’re staying there again, because overall it was good!

    Brand new modern hotel

    The La Quinta in Rock Hill is a great place to stay in the area and it’s dog friendly. Beautiful public spaces and good sized comfortable rooms. Nice food choices right across the street. The best breakfast we’ve had at this type of facility. Penny who was in charge was a joy to see in the morning. And Kristen at the front desk was also very nice. Most important was that our golden doodle was so happy he didn’t want o leave. Money well spent a good value! The modest $20 pet fee well worth it to stay at such a nice property!

    Off night?

    The hotel is new, good location. The first room they attempted to put us in was still dirty from the previous guests, this was after 11pm.
    The second room was reset, and “clean” but the refrigerator has been neglected which makes me wonder how clean the room actually was. We were too tired to care when it came to the second issue after traveling for 13+ hours. I’d forgive it moreso if we had booked day of, but we had reservations 4 days prior.
