Hotel La Pensione Svizzera is a perfect example of a small and charming hotel. It is located on Via Pirandello, one of the most beautiful panoramic roads of Taormina, and within a short walking distance to the Center Congress Hall and Greek Theater, as well as to the cable car and the bus terminal. One can enter through a small iron gate at road-level and find the entrance and the garden with the shadowy palm trees, a few steps below. The team at the reception desk is extremely helpful. The whole atmosphere is familiar and peaceful. Buffet breakfast is served in the garden or the garden-pavilion. The hotel offers parking or garage at request, 24-hours front desk service, a bar, an Internet point, and a shuttle-service to the private beach from May-October. The hotel organizes tennis and diving reservations, airport limousine transfers, and individual excursions. The hotel also does bookings for bus-excursions, hotels, and restaurants and makes reservations for rent-a-cars. There are 22 rooms, all with private showers, hairdryers, windows with double-glasses, central heating, telephones, satellite TV, safes, and individually controlled air-conditioning. Almost all the rooms have a view on the sea and a balcony.
