Hotel Orsa Maggiore is located in Vulcano a small charming island north of Sicily part of the Aeolian archipelago. The hotel is placed in a lush green garden area of approximately 1 hectar. In the garden clients may stroll find quiet and shady spots to relax. The hotel is at a short walking distance from the 'Black Sands Beach' a stunning bay of crystal water and incredible natural beauty. One kilometer away from the hotel is the small village where one can find colorful little shops 'Granita' parlours (Granita is the famous Sicilian crushed ice treat!) and a natural thermal area with hot muds. Vulcano is definitely an enchanting place for sea and sun lovers. The hotel is open from Easter to the end of October.
