Set high in the hills amid 30 acres of lush tropical vegetation, Montpelier Nevis is 10 miles from the airport and four miles from Charlestown. Amenities include a 60-foot mosaic-tiled freshwater pool, tennis court, snorkeling equipment and private two-acre beach, with daily shuttle service from the inn. The beach features sun shelters, pavilion for barbecue lunches, telephone and changing room with shower. The two restaurants are overseen by Nevisian and European chefs. Filled with antiques and comfortably furnished, the Great Room is a place for guests to gather and enjoy cocktails before and after dinner nightly.Island elegance distinguishes the guestrooms, each with private verandas and panoramic views. All rooms feature two double or one canopy or four-poster king bed, Porthault linens, chenille throws, louvered windows, direct-dial telephone, ceiling fan, tea and coffee making facilities, safe, private bathroom with luxury bath products, hairdryer and twice-daily maid service. Air-conditioning is provided in select rooms. The price includes a resort fee.
