Built in 1912, the Art Deco-style NH Amsterdam Schiller is situated at the Rembrandtplein, within walking distance of the Floating Market, and approximately 10 miles from Amsterdam Schiphol Airport. Hotel amenities include therestaurant, laundry service, shoeshine service, cloakroom service, vending machines, shopping area, shuttle service, medical service, babysitting, buffet breakfast, and 12-hour room service. The hotel houses the Schiller collection of 350 paintings, which includes examples of Art Nouveau and modernist pieces. Most of these works have remained intact since 1912, the year in which the hotel was built. Parking is a five-minute walk away while taxis and trams can be found 500 meters from the hotel. All rooms feature direct-dial telephones, cable TV, pay films, dataports, minibars, toiletry kits, hairdryers, choice of pillows, trouser press, coffee and tea facilities, safes, and paintings of former owner, Mister Schiller.
