Banff Caribou Lodge and Spa welcomes two dogs up to 50 lbs for an additional fee of CA$25 per pet, per night. Guests with pets will be assigned to Standard or Superior Rooms with Double beds. This hotel is about 6 blocks from downtown and offers room service from the adjacent Keg and free parking with complimentary coffee in the lobby until 11am. They also provide a pamphlet on what to do with your dog (grooming, walking, and daycare) along with patios that allow eating with dogs, and a pet bed in the room. These are all the pluses.
Dogs are not allowed in the room unattended or on the furniture. The pamphlet they gave to me upon checkout says that they give doggy treats, have toys and water bowls. None of these were offered to us, or in the room.
Above the amenities list an indoor pool. I didn’t see one, nor directional signs pointing the way. The hot tub was quite large with ample room with jets all around. It is closed for an hour midday for cleaning. It was a nice hotel, but kind of loud. Clean, pleasant and comfortable. But, due to the lack of stated amenities I would find somewhere else to stay
