We were really looking forward to staying at this quaint, historic landmark, The Colonial Inn in Concord, MA as both of us grew up in the area and graduated from Concord Carlisle High School. However, what a disappointment. The room was very clean but there was a strong odor of mildew most likely due to the age of the building and the room location on the ground floor. The room temperature was controlled by a very noisy air conditioner which made it difficult to sleep. The bed was also uncomfortably soft and worn with minimal support. Frankly I was surprised that the room did not reflect the usual high standard of The Colonial Inn.

We took our pup here and the staff was very helpful and pleasant! The only downfall is stairs. Still worth the stay, and would visit again.
