Staff was very welcoming to my two small pets and were also friendly and helpful. The location is great for everything you need close by yet back off the busy street for privacy with several grassy areas to walk your pets. And the bonus was the rooms were super clean!

I have stayed in My Place hotels in other cities and always had a good experience. I can say the same about the My Place in Overland Park. The room was clean and very spacious. The staff was welcoming and offered information and suggestions as far as dining, etc. There were plenty of grassy areas to walk my dog. There was a waste bag dispenser and waste receptacle provided as well. You don’t see this too often at other hotels.

Room/facility nice and clean, close to our family/friends. Asked for bottom floor and front desk was helpful and gave us room near side entrance and pet area. Only negative is that after staying 4 nights, requested early departure (one day early due to out of state family emergency). Fido was agreeable to refund but My Place property refused. Unfortunate as I paid extra for a refundable rate, and would have thought My Place would have been more flexible. The manager told me Corporate would not allow a refund booked by a 3rd-party website. So, If I have a choice, I’ll select a different hotel on my next trip.

The front desk lady was a little rude when I checked in and the hotel smelled heavily of chemicals. Was fine for one night but wouldn’t stay longer.

I understand it is a dog friendly hotel, but that doesn’t mean it shouldn’t be deep cleaned like every other room & like every other hotel. After traveling 10 hours, we arrived at the hotel, unpacked, took showers, ordered food & tried to relax. After sitting in the recliner & sitting back, I instantly smelled dog pee. Got up to look at the chair & there was a ton of dog hair where it reeked like dog pee. Last thing we wanted to do was move rooms after unpacking, showering & eating our food so we ended up just putting a blanket over the chair (which the fuzzy blanket they provided had crusty patches all over it like it wasn’t washed in a while). They offered to let us switch rooms which would have been extremely inconvenient after getting settled in so all they did was offer $10 refund aka the pet deposit. Feel like that was not a good enough compensation. Beware if you have boy dogs that want to mark over other dog’s pee because that might be an issue if they aren’t cleaning thoroughly.

My Place was the best bang for the buck (under $100 inclusive of 2 $10 pet fees) with nice area for dogs and right next to extensive soccer and other fields. Only drawback was the walls were very thin so could hear more than we wanted to next door. But having spent closer to $200 for a crappy place not that far away on another night, we were thrilled.

Very clean, modern, large room with kitchenette. Nice area surrounded by stores and restaurants. Lots of clean green space around hotel and area to walk dogs. Extremely quiet. Best dog friendly place I have stayed. Would recommend!

It is amazingly clean. Comfortable beds and great pillows. Staff especially friendly and helpful. Plenty of close places to eat, grocery store across the street, and Sam's Club just down the street. Will DEFINITELY stay there again when passing through KC.

The hotel was fine. The location was the best part, close to highway and restaurants. We were given a room on the 3rd floor, which was a hassle since the elevator was broken and we had our small corgi with us. The room was noisy - loud refrigerator and AC and lots of people talking - which made for a sleepless night. Would I stay here again. Probably not.

I’ve stayed in pet friendly hotels in Kansas City that were super sketchy but this location was clean and outside of the city. It was quiet and felt pretty safe. Love the space in these hotels especially if you have big dogs with kennels.

After an arrival glitch, which was rectified immediately thanks to the professional team at BringFido we settled in to our comfortable room convenient to the side entrance and grassy area. Matilda was very happy and relaxed and slept well. the price was perfect for a quick one night in & out.

This is more of an extended stay kind of hotel, with a mini kitchen in the room. We stayed only one night, but it would have been excellent for multiple nights. There is no fenced area for dogs, but plenty of grassy areas around to walk them and bags provided. The room was clean and comfortable.

This hotel was very nice and clean. They were welcoming of our dog (and us). While there wasn’t a great grassy area for the dog, there was plenty of plants and trees in the landscaping around the parking lot. Easy access to the highway. Would stay here again.

If I could give it 6 bones I would. This was a great experience. Fantastically clean room and our dog was as welcome as we were. I just wish more dog owners would clean up after their dogs. Nice grassy area to walk the dog but lots of dog poop laying in the grass. And people wonder why more hotels don’t allow dogs. I would stay at a My Place Hotel whenever I am in the KC area.

Easy check in and out. Had no problems with my dogs and, despite knowing there were multiple other dogs staying as well, the hotel was quiet! Everything in our room was clean and working. Staff was friendly and helpful. Easy access to the dog walk area outside the side door with trash can and a well stocked bag station.

I have never heard of My Place hotels before and am glad I finally did! Everything was so clean and comfortable, especially the bed and bed sheets! Those sheets where just delightful. There was also a large easy chair in the room that felt like relaxing at home. What’s another word for comfortable? Because that’s what that chair was. The only down side was lack of a hotel ice maker. Each room had an ice maker inside the fridge. Our ice maker only made 8 cubes at a time and it was slow at making the ice. We only got 16 cubes during our one night stay and I needed a bit more than that for our small cooler. There are beaucoup shopping and eating options surrounding this hotel, but for this location, it was hard to find a pet friendly restaurant patio. That is not the fault of the hotel, but just thought I’d mention it.

The hotel was clean, spacious, & accessible for wheelchair. The bed could have been more comfortable but overall was okay. Check-in & out was simple and quick. Dogs were happy. There was grass close outside for the dogs to potty. I would stay here again.

We booked this hotel as there are lots of places nearby to grab a bite to eat without leaving pups alone too long. Check-in was easy and they just had you sign a waiver saying dogs would not be left unattended and it was up to 80lbs combined dog weight with $10/night per dog. Plenty of spots to walk the dogs. We did not have too many reasons for the dogs to bark and would stay here again as very convenient hotel.

The hotel was very clean. All the rooms have kitchenettes with a full size fridge. The hotel is walking distance to stores and resturants.T he hotel backs to baseball fields, so theres alot of sidewalks to walk on. Theres actually a small grass park-like area in the parking lot in front of the hotel that you can use if you don't want to use the sidewalk. Overall a nice hotel.

We had never heard of My Place Hotel before so when we saw it on the BringFido app we decided to check it out. We also like the fact that the pet fee was only $10 a night per dog. The room was very nice and spacious. We were thrilled there was a full-size coffee pot. Loved the little kitchenette. There were just no pots/pans, dishes or utensils, but we can understand why. Maybe you have to ask for them. Our only small complaint was there was someone either above us or below us that played loud music at 6:30 a.m.
Other than that, this place will be our hotel of choice now when we come to KC.

Was clean, and easy to use. The room was large. Puppy was happy. The bed was really high off the ground for him. There was not anything in the room that could provide an intermediate step for him getting up or down. Outside areas are great. The grass is well-kept and people do seem to clean up after themselves here, unlike some hotels.
