  Very clean and comfy

  As previous reviews described, the rooms used for pets are very clean and odor free. Staff was very pleasant and accommodating. Wanted to check it out before booking for trip home. Needless to say I reserved for trip home.

  Nice room

  Room was updated and clean. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good. Very small area to walk our dog on the property but, was able to walk through adjacent neighborhood. Several restaurants within a few blocks of hotel.

  Overnight stay!

  Woman at front desk was very friendly, checked me in quickly and gave me a dog treat for my pup. Room was clean, bed was nice, coffee & breakfast provided in the morning. Was safe enough to walk my dog around to go potty without going too far! Surrounding location seems sketchy but no bad experiences here, would stay again!

  Easy in and out!

  On a road trip, got in late, receptionist was wonderful and BringFido had reserved our space. Our room was right by door to walk dog. We all got a great night's sleep, good breakfast and back on the road. Super easy!

  Best Pet Friendly Hotel

  At most hotels that allow pets, the moment you walk in you know it's pet friendly. The carpet tends to be dingy and stained, a lot of them are not very clean and they have a definite odor that tells you you're in a place that allows pets. That IS NOT the case at The Fairfield Inn-Charleston. The entire facility was very clean: from the lobby, to the breakfast area, the hallways and especially my room. You would never know it's pet friendly by looking at it. And there were a lot of dogs there the night we were there.

  In addition to the cleanliness, all of the staff that we encountered were very nice and helpful, including the person at the front desk and the staff that ran the breakfast area. And speaking of breakfast, it was better than most and the coffee was good. Whether you need a pet friendly hotel or not, I would highly recommend The Fairfield Inn Charleston.

  Great hotel!

  Stayed on our way south and we’re so impressed, we stayed again our our way back north. Great room, walked across the parking lot to get take out for dinner from Holiday Inn. highly recommend.

  Just checked in and got our room. So nice! Clean, great front desk staff, and the bathrooms are so nice. Definitely staying here again!

  Nice hotel

  Clean room and bedding, great location to walk to many restaurants or get delivery. Super friendly staff. My dog was presented with a basket of fresh toys to choose from, so sweet. The hotel does have thin walls but thankfully it was quiet at night and this light sleeper slept through the night. Not a ton of dog walking space on the hotel grounds but you can walk dogs in the neighborhood next door. We'll be staying there again on our way back North.

  Great location and very pet friendly!

  The team at Fairfield Inn was amazing. The Inn was clean and comfortable with plenty of parking and there were no issues having our pets there. The rooms are lovely, almost to the point I was nervous about having our two large dogs and Maine Coon cat in there! However, everything was great and we had no problems.

  Great staff

  The hotel room was large enough for our two Bouviers who said it was dog tested and dog approved. The staff at this hotel were the nicest I’ve ever encountered at any hotel at any price range. We’d definitely be back if ever in the area again.

  Great stay!

  This was our first experience traveling with our dog, and we had a great stay! There were quite a few others there traveling with their dogs. Plenty of places to walk, too. If we are traveling through the area again, we would certainly return.

  Noisy But Still Nice

  Of all the hotels we've stayed at, this was my dog's least favorite. She had trouble settling in the room. We came on a Friday night and it was noisy in the hall outside the room till 2am. And the noise started back up at 8am. I thought the room was comfortable. But many times in the night we both woke up. But it got the job done as a quick final stop on a long drive home from Savannah to Michigan

  A very nice stay

  We had a very nice room on the sixth floor, very quiet, clean and comfortable. Check-in clerk was very friendly and helpful. The hotel is in a mixed residential and commercial neighborhood, was fine to walk dogs around.

  Good stay with my furboys

  We were traveling to Florida from Canada and booked a night in Charleston WV. The hotel was easy to get to off our route. The room and bathroom were clean. The dogs had never stayed in hotel before and they did very well. The only complaint I would have is there is not a lot of grassy areas to walk the dogs and let them relieve themselves. The area around is a bit rough so we didn’t venture too far.

  Good for what we needed

  We were able to check-in with no problem. However, my dog is anxious, and going outside with the noise and train nearby was not optimal for the dog so that it might be an issue for potty breaks. Otherwise, the price was great, and the room did not have anything "dog friendly."

  Good location

  Nice clean Hotel. Room was big and comfortable. We were able to get a nice run in through downtown South Charleston. Good grab and go Breakfast was included!

  Fantastic amenities

  This property is fantastic; the staff, cleanliness, quality of the room, fitness center, breakfast. Though small, the town is quaint and quiet (except for the train that runs behind the building, though I never heard it from my room). I didn't wander too far from the building as I don't know the area, but the folks I ran into were friendly and kind.

  The hotel graciously welcomed our Rottweiler and made all of us feel at home. There is plenty of area to walk your pet around and in a very comfortable setting.

  This is an excellent hotel in all respects. Really well appointed room with extra large flat screen tv and Netflix access (a Marriott feature we love). Good service and fine complementary breakfast. Highly recommended if passing through Charleston with your doggie.

  Easy experience

  Great experience for our pup and cat. At check-in the hotel staff provided our dog with a toy and bag of treats and our room was located next to the stairs for easy access outside. The surrounding area was quiet and convenient for walking our dog. Very reasonable per fees as well.

  Really nice and Super Clean!

  We were just passing through for the night and needed a place to stay with our 2 English Mastiffs, it was a great price for a really nice stay, they did really well too in the room and elevator rides to go outside

  Nicely Done!

  This hotel has a fresh feel - very clean. The beds are comfortable with good pillows. The staff is super helpful & our dog was welcomed with a treat bag. They did a great job with COVID safety, but still provided breakfast & coffee.
