La Verde Lodge is the perfect base camp for you and your group when exploring the great southwest We are close to everything only 11 miles to Mesa Verde national Park just a few miles from Anasazi Heritage Center and just a short distance From canyons of the ancients
Just a day trip from all of the parks in southeast Utah,
Or an excursion to Eastern Arizona to The Grand Canyon
And maybe Canyon de Chelly National Monument worth the short trip
Looking for cooler weather the San Juan Skyway Scenic Byway is a great circle drive through the prettiest mountains in all of Colorado
Mountain biking at world renowned Phils world less then 4 miles away
Looking to catch supper there are hundreds of miles of Mountain streams within a short drive And some of the best fishing in Southwest Colorado
Also McPhee reservoir One of the largest bodies of water in Colorado only 11 miles away boating is available as well
We are set up great for large groups or small
Three outside patio area’s and decks to enjoy One screened in patio for outside dining bug free, two lower level patio areas covered to enjoy rain or shine and covered deck on the upper level outside Farview room A great place to enjoy the sunsets And views
Inside 5000 ft.² lots of room For everyone Lower level has a large master bedroom with two private bathrooms One with jetted tub and one with large shower two queen beds and a queen hide a bed couch The adjacent bedroom has Twin over-full bunk bed and queen bed and adjacent full bath
Lower level also has a very well stocked kitchen and pantry area as well as additional ice machine and extra fridge and freezer To help with large group needs
Or if you’d rather dine out you’re only 2 to 3 miles away from all the dining options in Cortez Including our own restaurant the Shiloh steakhouse the best steaks in the southwest 😃
A roomie living room with several areas to gather
A basement area for fun and games including pool table and ping-pong table
Upstairs you will find The Farview room a master bedroom and private bath with jetted tub, two queen beds with queen hide a bed with private covered deck
adjacent you will find three bedrooms one with twin over full bunk bed and a queen bed next room you’ll find a queen bed
the next We call the cliff palace and balcony house bunk room with two twin overfull bunk beds and the balcony with two full beds Also a full private bathroom
The upper level also has a shared full bathroom for all guests
