The cabin sits above the banks of The Middle St. Vrain mountain creek. There is much outdoor private creek side access on this property. Drinking, showering, cleaning water is Rocky Mountain delicious well water potable filtered 3 ways. Because is was built in 1939 when people we not as tall it's into ceiling height is a little less than 7 feet and the doorways among rooms are lower. So if you are very tall just be mindful to not bump your head.
The cabin has 2 steps into main room and from kitchen to patio. there are a few sets of stairs with sturdy railings. The steps down to the creek also have a sturdy railing but if one is frail with mobility and balance the cabin may not be the best choice for you.

This Riparian waterway nature reserve feeling is welcoming, cozy and the cabin is on the Middle St. Vrain creek at the refreshing altitude of 8,500'. Step back into nature viewing the magnificent beauty of St. Vrain Creek descending with a roar from inside windows or outside at many locations. There are many relaxing sitting areas. There are a few neighboring cabins across the creek with usually very quiet and private neighbors. And Peaceful Valley Rd. does have other cabins on it as it was originally a Stage Stop in 1901 and then for many years the Peaceful Valley dude ranch was there. The Peaceful Valley Guest Ranch currently only rents a few guest cabins and does not have any other prior amenities. You can still take the short steep walk up the historic Peaceful valley Chapel and take in the stunning views from in front of the chapel. Please ask Host Maura and she will provide your directions.

The cabin has a large welcoming living room where 2 separate yet joined seating areas. One area with 2 comfortable couches facing each other and the electric fire ambiance.. The second area of the main living room has a queen sized comfortable Forma Furniture facing the smart TV. This couch can be easily pulled out for a queen bed. The cabin sleeps 4 adults comfortably in the queen bed and two Forma Furniture thermapedic mattress queen couches . Boulder County short term rental legal to rent up to 4 adults and 6 people total with if a few children.
Off the living room are doorways to the master private bedroom with queen sized bed and into the kitchen. This backroom has another comfortable queen sized forma furniture coach to be pulled out as a private sleeping area. The bathroom , with a shower, is privately accessed through both the kitchen and the master bedroom. Parking is conveniently located in the front yard of the cabin off Peaceful Valley Rd. A side door off kitchen takes you down a short few stairs to the flagstone patio, grill, picnic table, patio furniture and out side table . Walking down another set of flagstone steps takes you directly to the banks of the middle St. Vrain Creek where relaxing chairs and a hammock await you.
With a valid Colorado fishing license you can fish right on premises or nearby forest service land. In the summer creekside you can watch humming birds dive through the air above the creek eating bugs or view Colorado Dipper birds diving under neath the water to feed themselves.
