Mountainair Townhome
The functional MountainAir Townhouse serves as the perfect accommodations to host your friends, family, and loved ones during a visit to Colorado and the spectacular Eagle County. Minturn is a quaint, lively, and beautiful town nestled between the large ski towns of Vail and Beaver Creek/ Avon. Enjoy the seclusion, beauty, local vibe, and charm of this small mountain town while living just minutes from the activity and amenity-rich larger resort towns.
MountainAir lies in the shadow of the Lionshead rock with beautiful views of Meadow Mountain. Minturn's historic downtown is located less than 100 yards from the Townhouse and provides year-round shopping, dining, bars, and activities. Winters are amazing, but this area really shines in the summer. MountainAir is located 3 miles from several trailheads and is centrally located to enjoy Eagle County's summer activity offerings. Hiking, fishing, road and mountain biking, backpacking, whitewater rafting, shopping, dining, and visiting the summer resorts are all popular activities among visitors to the area. The historic mining town of Leadville is just a short hour drive up the spectacular Battle Mountain Pass. A great option for a fun day trip.
The Townhouse is an ideal space for your family, friends, or both to use as a homey base from which to launch your mountain activities. MountinAir was constructed in 2005 in one of the newer and more modern developments in the area. It is fully furnished with all the amenities and comforts of your own home. Generous kitchen appliances, silverware, dish-ware, and other amenities mean that you can leave your items and worries at home and visit knowing that your every need has been anticipated and taken care of. Enjoy full cable, high speed internet, and a large flatscreen in the living room with a DVD-BlueRay player.
Public transportation serves Minturn, however, it is recommended that guest bring or rent a car for their visit. MountainAir has a one-car garage that can fit a medium SUV (max dimensions, 189" L x 76" W x 68" H) and parking for any size car behind the garage. There is no other parking available nearby. The garage has plenty of storage for summer camping gear, winter snow sports gear, etc.
Enter the three-story MountainAir townhouse on the bottom floor and you will get an idea of the well thought out usability of this location. The entryway has large overhead cubbies to store your wet and dirty gear, shoe racks can easily accommodate your entire party's footwear (it is requested shoes be removed while in the house), and ample coat-hangers for your winter wear. Through the downstairs corridor, you will find the first of three well-furnished bedrooms. This bedroom features a full bathroom with a tub and two comfortable double bunk beds, a great space for additional guests or as a kids den.
As you make your way upstairs, you will be greeted by an economically utilized kitchen, dining area, and living room. The kitchen is modern and meals for your entire party can be cooked and cleaned with ease. The dining table is a large centerpiece of this space and can easily fit your party of ten. Next, the double couches provide plenty of lounging room after a hard day of skiing. One couch has a fold-out bed for that friend or family member that invited themselves along. Slide open the adjacent glass door to access a deck with beautiful views overlooking Meadow Mountain. This floor has a 1/2 bathroom and washer and dryer are located in a closet after the stairs.
The upstairs has two bedrooms including the large master. Both bedrooms feature comfortable king-size beds, full bathrooms (the master has a tub,) and vaulted ceilings with skylights in the bathrThe functional MountainAir Townhouse serves as the perfect accommodations to host your friends, family, and loved ones during a visit to Colorado and the spectacular Eagle County.
