Welcome to Barefoot Cove – Where the Sand Meets Serenity
Tucked along the gentle shores of Lake Norman, Barefoot Cove is your invitation to slow down, kick off your shoes, and fully embrace lake life. With a rare private sandy beach, sweeping waterfront views, and space for up to 14 guests, this 6-bedroom, 4-bath retreat is a dream destination for families and friends looking to make unforgettable memories.
Step through the front door and be welcomed by a wall of windows framing the sparkling lake just beyond. The open-concept main level invites connection, with a fully stocked kitchen, spacious dining area, and cozy living room all flowing together. Whether you're cooking a feast, gathering for games, or curling up by the fireplace, the lake is always just a glance away.
The main level features three serene bedrooms, including a spacious king ensuite with direct deck access—perfect for sipping your morning coffee lakeside. A cozy queen room and a fun bunk room (with twin-over-twin and twin-over-full built-ins) round out the sleeping spaces on this floor, ideal for both restful nights and giggly sleepovers.
Head downstairs to the entertainment hub of the home, where you'll find three more bedrooms—two queens and a king—as well as a shared bath and a bunk room that's perfect for the kiddos. The lower level also boasts a full game room with a big-screen TV, air hockey, shuffleboard, and classic arcade favorites. It's the perfect place to challenge your crew to some friendly competition or settle in for movie night after a day on the lake.
Step outside and discover the magic of Barefoot Cove's outdoor spaces. The screened-in porch, complete with ceiling fans and seating for 10, is a favorite for evening dinners and starlit conversations. Multiple decks offer cozy corners for reading, sipping cocktails, or simply taking in the view. The rocking chair front porch adds a touch of charm and a perfect spot for quiet morning moments.
But it's the sandy beach that truly sets this home apart. With a gentle, walk-in entry to the water, it's ideal for swimmers of all ages. Settle into an Adirondack chair, dip your toes in the lake, or grab one of the four included kayaks (2 adult, 2 child-sized) and paddle your way through peaceful coves. The private dock is ready for your rented boat or an afternoon of sunbathing, while a lakeside seating area just before the dock invites deep conversations and gorgeous sunset photos.
At Barefoot Cove, every detail has been thoughtfully chosen to bring joy, comfort, and connection. Whether you're gathered around the table, roasting marshmallows by the water, or exploring Lake Norman's beauty from your private beach, you'll find yourself fully immersed in lakeside bliss.
