  Ok stay in a emergency

  It is an ok place to stay with your pet for a last minute hotel. This place needs some serious upgrades including the staff to make it a better place to stay. It could definitely use a paint job. The bed is the real reason it received two bones. It was a nice bed. It was great for sleeping. It was extremely comfortable and I have sleep a sleep number bed at home so that tells me a lot if I found the bed comfortable.

  What happened La Quinta?!!

  Only because I had my dog with me that we decided to stay there. The room had black mold in the bathroom, the bathtub had a major water leak! Whenever you turned on the shower some of the water escape between the tub and the subfloor! The tub felt like you were surfing on some major waves! You could hear the water “squishing” between the bathtub and the floor ugh!! The walls were sticky and the floor smelled like crap! I was really disappointed on how dirty it was. I only gave it 2/5 because of the convenience for dog owners. No bueno.

  Hotel has gotten seedy

  I appreciate La Quinta Inns but this one has become a base for the homeless in the area. The police were there most of the evening.

  Cheap but smoky rooms

  The room was ok, what you would expect at this price. The reason for lower rating is the smoking rooms. We booked a smoke-free room and it was full of smoke, we requested another one and the reception was very prompt and friendly to provie an alternative room but even that had smell of perfume to mask the smell of smoke. Both rooms said "Non-Smoking" on their door.

  2nd time was MUCH Better

  1st time we stayed here the lady was rude at the front desk and the room was a little run down. 2nd time was a much better experience. A different lady was running the desk (maybe a manager) and she even bothered to tell me they're not doing breakfast due to COVID by the Denny's in the parking lot is offering discounts. The room was much more pleasant, must have been updated. These 2 stays were only a few weeks apart. Our dog had no issues.

  Gross!

  Traveling in the time of COVID-19. Upon entering I wiped down every surface we could possibly touch during our visit. The wipes I used all came up dirty. There was even dust inside the phone handset rest. The doors had dirty, smudged prints. The entire room smelled of mold, the AC took forever to cool the room. We will NOT ever stay there again!

  Grounds were rough!

  Very little grassy area and what there was was littered with cigarette butts, bottle caps and feces. Gross

  Would not recommend.

  This hotel was a bad experience from the very beginning. The associates were rude. I booked a room with a king size bed two weeks in advance. Upon checking in, only smoking rooms with king beds were available. We switched to a double bed room as it was evidently our only option. When we expressed that we were dissatisfied the woman said something along the lines of “Well I didn’t have to save you a room at all.” In this room, one bed was only partially made which exposed a large stain on the mattress. There were light bulbs missing. Top covers on both beds were miscolored (yellow and dirty where they should have been white.) The particle board on the back of the dresser/tv stand was disentigrating into a pile on the floor. Lastly, the bathtub had dirt in it.

  The WORST!

  We checked in, found the room and left immediately! The location seemed unsafe and unsavory. The room smelled of old dirt and mildew. The bed was not suitable for a night's rest. There was a bug bigger than my dog hiding in a corner and the carpet was filthy. The bathroom did not appear to have been cleaned in a long while. There was NO WAY my dog was going to stay in this room. We left and went to the La Quinta in Madison and had a fabulous night. Please do NOT go to this hotel. It's not clean and it's not safe.

  Fire Ants

  While we stayed at this hotel one of my dogs got glass stuck in her paw. Also, all three of my dogs plus me and my daughter got bitten by fire ants on the hotel property. They also do not have a good walking area in general with only a few small patches of grass. When we brought our complaints to the manager, they said they would address the problem but this is still something to consider as the glass and ants were in the dog walking area.

  Horrible

  The room smells really bad.....And not from pets. Housekeeping was virtually non-existent and there are a lot on "undesirables" staying there. Spend a little more instead of staying here. We won't be back.
